Penalties and Sanctions
Failure to comply with these rules will result in penalties ranging from time penalties to immediate disqualification.
1) Minor Offenses (time penalty):

Littering / throwing a water bottle: +30 minutes per offense

Partial absence of mandatory equipment: +20 minutes

Failure to follow the course (without clear intent to cheat): +30 minutes
2) Major Offenses (possible exclusion):

Unauthorized outside assistance: disqualification

Undeclared abandonment: ban from registering for the next 2 editions

Total absence of critical mandatory equipment (headlamp, water supply, survival blanket): disqualification

Disrespect towards volunteers, organizers, law enforcement, or other runners: immediate disqualification

Clear cheating (vehicle use, intentional shortcut, falsified bib): disqualification + ban from registering for the next 3 editions
3) Final Decision:
Any sanction is pronounced by the Race Management, after being reported by volunteers, referees, or checkpoint officials. Decisions are final and cannot be appealed.

2025 Race Details
100Km track
The 100km race track is similar to the previous year (GPX file available). Expect a delightful scenery across the Sahara. Check points are spread 15-20km from each other. Hydration stations will also be available along the route.
50Km track
The 52km race track (GPX file available) will follow the same path as the 100km race for the first 6km. Both races will share 2 Check Points (CP4 and CP5). Two hydrations points will be available
25Km track
The 26km race track (GPX file available) will follow the same path as the 50km race for the first 9km. Hydrations points will be available
